A private equity firm focused on investing growth capital in authentic brands, JH Partners emphasizes an international approach by making investments in retail brands in such key markets as Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. For instance, JH Partners invested in Jurlique International, a skin care products manufacturer based in Australia. Jurlique markets its products to high-end retailers focused on consumers in America and Asia as well as local Australian providers.

Beyond its international investments, JH Partners is active in America, having partnered with a variety of consumer-focused brands. In 2011, for example, the firm acquired a stake in J.McLaughlin, the American luxury clothing retailer. That same year, it invested in Contenix, a company that delivers marketing solutions to clients through its user-friendly platform.

Over the past eighteen months the firm has executed a number successful exits including the sales of all or part of its stakes in Alex and Ani, J McLaughlin, Frette, GoSmile, Bell Automotive, and Kate Somerville, of which it owned 75 percent, to Unilever, a large corporation managing such brands as Dove and Lipton. In addition, in 2015, JH Partners retained Baird as an advisor on the sale of Country Home Products to Generac Holdings. Acquirers of JH Partners' stakes include private equity firms, family offices, and global consumer brands.
